Embroidered Items 30°C • Cool/Reverse Always wash inside out. Protects thread.
Silk 20°C Cold • Cool Hand wash. pH neutral soap only. No soaking.
Wool 20°C Cold •• Warm Wool detergent. Dry flat. No wringing.

3 Soap & Detergent Selection

SAFE TO USE

  • • Mild liquid detergent (most items)
  • • Baby detergent (baby items, sensitive skin)
  • • pH neutral soap (silk, delicate embroidery)
  • • Wool wash (wool items only)
  • • Colour-safe detergent (coloured fabrics)
  • • Oxygen bleach (whites, non-chlorine)

AVOID

  • • Regular chlorine bleach (damages embroidery)
  • • Fabric softener (reduces absorbency, dulls threads)
  • • Harsh stain removers (can discolour)
  • • Powder detergents (may not dissolve fully in cold)
  • • Enzymatic cleaners on silk/wool
  • • Optical brighteners on darks/colours

5 Stain Emergency First Aid

Blood/Protein

Rinse COLD water immediately. Soak cold. No hot water!

Oil/Grease

Blot. Dish soap directly on spot. Wash warm.

Wine/Coffee

Blot. Salt/club soda. Wash ASAP cold.

Ink

Hairspray or rubbing alcohol. Blot, don't rub.

Grass

Pre-treat with detergent. Soak 30min. Wash.

Unknown

Cold water first. Test soap on hidden area.
